A1 Keel/Rudder - repair hydraulic system. ✅

• Centreboard hydraulics control raising of the centreboard, but when switched to lowering mode, boards  descends freely.  March 3-6, 2023 - Fuse in keel pump is in working order.  Pump lubricated, pivot pins replaced. Now operates freely and smoothly.   
• Centreboard cylinder was rebuilt, new, spare aboard.   See also rudder operation, item A12.    
• Both rudder and centreboard have all new delrin bushings, stainless and alu axles/pins, and new or rebuilt hydraulic cylinders, entire system inspected and renewed.  
•  Hydraulic system was flushed and bled and the correct fluid was used.  Spares aboard.

A2 Thru Hull depth sounder leak  ✅

• Per surveyor - Sender identified as leaking was replaced with DST810, installed 3M 5200.    May 2024

A3 Dripless prop shaft seal leak  ✅

• March 2023 - The Volvo shaft seal must be "burped" and greased after periods of disuse. It is accessible from the SS aft cabin.   This was not done prior to survey.  Spare shaft seal purchased and on board.  See also C9.

A4 Extinguisher Cert  🌊 

• Extinguishers and fire suppression will be inspected in Willemstad Nov 2025 prior to launch.

A5 Expired Flares      ✅  

• Flares updated October 2025

A6 Fixed fire suppression cert.  🌊 

• Extinguishers and fire suppression will be inspected in Willemstad Nov 2025 prior to launch.

A7 Life Raft Cert.   🌊 

• A4-A7 These items were purchased new in 2019, and are within Canadian standards for re-cert.   To recertify in 2025. (there is no agent in Curacao.)  
• Plastimo agents are in Puerto Rico, St. Thomas USVI and St. Martin.  Appointment has been made to service raft weeks of Dec. 10-19 in St. Thomas, USVI.

A8 First Aid kit  ✅

• March 3-6, 2023  a first aid kit was not found during survey, but there was one was aboard.  
• A much more comprehensive medical kit now aboard, with a second kit in ditch bag. 

 A9 Smoke Detector ✅

• Installed June 2023. 

A 10 Ditch Bag contents not adequate✅

• Ditch bag acquired and outfitted, updated flares aboard.   Requires only food, water, prior to launch.  

A 11 Portside bilge Pump not working  ✅

• March 3-6 2023. Repaired. This is a new pump that had been incorrectly wired by the prior owner.  A replacement pump, plus 3 rebuild kits are now aboard.   improved strum boxes have been installed and limber holes have been cleared of debris.  

A 12 Rudder Hydraulics Leaking  ✅

• May 2024 Rudder cylinder replaced with new, system purged and bled, now functioning perfectly.   Both rudder and centreboard have been completely rebuilt with new delrin bushings, stainless and alu axles/pins, and new hydraulic cylinders.   System was flushed and bled and the correct fluid was used, pump inspected cleaned and worn parts replaced.    

A 13 Replace gas lines.  ✅

• Gas lines, regulator, tanks and range replaced June 2023.  See also C8.

B1Replace Keel box anodes ✅

• May 2024. Keel box anodes were owner-added and are not advised per the factory.   These and any traces of stainless steel fastenings were removed.  

B2Bilge corrosion cleaned, Mag anodes in water tank.  ✅

• March 3-6, 2023. Stbd tank cleaned, mag anodes purchased, corrosion removed from sump areas identified in survey.
• June 2023 - tanks cleaned, anodes installed.  
• bilges scrubbed and inspected from bow to stern, June 2023.

• Spare tank anodes purchased and are aboard.  

B3 Straighten anchor platform  ✅

• Anchor platform flange straightened, Selden sprit, the likely cause of the damage to the anchor platform, has been replaced with the correct OEM bowsprit fitting. This is vastly superior in design and construction. Bent anchor roller shaft has been replaced as has worn anchor roller.  Area was primed painted and assembly greased and reinstalled May 2024.

B4 Head sink drain hose kinked ✅

·        Replaced with MPI series 110 soft wall wire-reinforced hose.

B5 Hydro generator cable slack  ✅

• Hydrogenerator cable replaced and unit serviced and operation verified. New bracket installed .

B6 Corrosion at steering pedestal base 🚧

• Investigate and clean Sept  2024.

B7 Antifouling Paint ✅🌊

• Bottom has been stripped and painted with Interprotect 200e, will receive antifouling just prior to launch. 

B8 Cutlass bearing - monitor   ✅

B9 Chafe protection at cable exit on mast  ✅

• Corrugated trunking installed to protect all cables May 2024.

B10 Halyard Chafe 🌊

• All new lines are aboard but will be rove only prior to launch to prevent UV degredation.

C1 Exterior paint  🚧  

•  Foredeck, cabintop and transom area have been stripped, primed with International Primocon and painted with Interthane 990.  Repaint will be complete mid-November 2025.

C2 Hull dent  ✅

• minor cosmetic issue 

C3 Deck hatches some crazing  ✅

• Deck hatches were reglazed and hardware renewed, sunbrella hatch covers made and installed.
• large inventory of hardware spares abord.

C4 Windows, possible leak   ✅

•     Area Sealed

C5 Stanchions Bent  ✅

• March 3-6, 2023 Stanchions were inspected and straightened, bent units replaced with new, spares aboard as well.   New, heavier, uncoated SS lifelines installed Sept 2024.

C6 Check cabin heat ✅

• Heater disconnected Oct 2023, to be relocated. 

C7 Refrigeration running irregularly ✅

• March 2023 -Condition identified in survey is a consistent with seawater-cooled refrigeration operating out of water.  
• Refrigeration system verifed in 2024, tested with 2 weeks' subsequent use with temporary coolant supply.   

C8 range  - Service and repair   ✅

•  See also A13.   Range replaced with NEW Force 10 unit. 

C9 Engine- Service   ✅

• Service competed, mixing elbow replaced March 2024.  See also A3.  

C10 Engine RPM topped at 2450. ✅

• See C9 - clogged mixing elbow.

C11, C12 Shore Power Ground isolation✅

• August 2024 Inlet replaced with new, correctly configured Hubbell unit.
• Victron 3600VA automatic isolation transformer installed Oct 2023.

C13 (same as B2) clean tanks, Mag anode installed  ✅

• Replaceable magnesium anodes installed during refit, 2024 refit, spares aboard.  

C14 Radar  🚧

•  All instruments are in good working order except radar dome or its cable.   CMZ to address, Nov 2024. 

C15 Wind instrument NF, likely sender or wiring.  ✅

• All older electronics were removed in 2025 and updated with new B&G instruments.  
• Bluetooth deck sender installed may 2024, masthead sensor to be paired and installed, Nov 2025

C16 PFD inspection ✅

• PFDs are in excellent condition.   Ocean systems 150N harness with UML mk5 autoinflators,

C17 Nav lights not tested✅

• March 2023, existing  aqua signal 40 Nav lights are all in working order.  
• 2nm Hella LED nav lights purchased for installation Nov 2025.

C18 Hull Corrosion/Paint  ✅

• Bottom has been stripped and painted with Interprotect 200e, will receive antifouling just prior to launch.  Foredeck, cabintop and transom area have been stripped, primed with International Priomocon and painted with Interthane 990.  Topsides have been stripped and sanded and will remain unpainted. 

C19 Boom Gooseneck requires nylon washer.  ✅

• May 2024 undersized gooseneck bolt replaced with 7/16" , SS load washer installed.  gooseneck greased, inspected, etc.

C-20 Genoa furler bar bent, straighten. ✅

• Furler rebuilt and bent parts replaced with new.

C-21 Service Winches  ✅

• Winches removed, cleaned and fully serviced Feb 25.   Reinstalled with new fiberglass isolating pads and butyl bedding compound.

C-22 Replace rubber winch buttons.  ✅
